Bye 2008
Its been months since I updated. Here are some random photos from just before and around the holidays.
And here are some asides;
When Maisie barks, he tells her to "Shut OFF!" Sometimes its "Shut DOWN!"
He asks for something and at the end of the request, he says, "Pleeeease-I SAID PLEASE" which gives you no time to respond to whatever he asked for, and sort of kills the spirit of politeness he intended.
He tells us about his day, what he dreams about (usually a train). He is taking swimming lessons at the Y, with some of his friends.
He loves drawing trains and water towers.
Probably the weirdest update is, I heard myself saying to him the other night at dinner, is "Finn you have to eat a few more bites of Pizza please, not just the brocolli".
He is 37 inches tall, which means that in some brands, he is a 4T.
In my boots

Setting up for inauguration in the background, wish we had a golden ticket!
The big guy.
At Grandmamas
At the Airspace museum; I think Finn had a good time... I'm not 100% sure....
At Flat Black, the neighbourhood coffee store.

Kennnnnnntucky!
Finn met up with his Grand-maman and the rest of the family in Kentucky for Grand-mamans 85th birthday. He had a great time, doing hikes, visiting a bourbon distillery, a shaker village, paddle-boating, and going to a great waterpark. Actually he didn't like the waterpark so much but his cousin Lily sure did. It was nice to see everybody and meet Uncle Robert, Aunt Diana and Lily for the first time.

Midmay
I'm so proud of Finn lately.
He eats fruits and veggies (ok, veggies are often dipped in ketchup, but didn't Reagan count it as a vegetable mid 80's?)
He also says "excuse me", in particular with Maisie who by her nature is often in the way, and "thank you" happens when you are least expecting it , which is nice.
This past week I was putting together an ikea night table for a job, and he insisted on helping me, and he actually picked out the right screws for the drawer attachment ?!?! (Thank god he's helping!)
And this very morning, he asked to have his diaper taken off so he could use the potty. And he did. And how.
